VPBC Newsletter – November 2022
Hi everyone, well time is marching on its nearly Christmas already just a few things to update you on.
WINTER ACTIVITIES
These are proving to be very popular this year. The Ormskirk league on the all-weather green is running well, we have 17 registered players all enjoying the challenge. Results are getting better against very tough opposition. We also have 4 teams of 10 players in the winter league at Zetland. The weather has been very kind so far hopefully that will continue. It has been very enjoyable playing on a lovely green with good facilities spectators always welcome. Tuesday’s games afternoon in the clubhouse has been very popular this year but that might be the bacon butties. Wednesday afternoons is short-mat bowling at Dunes is much better attended this year with a few of our newer members joining in.
