End of season report – Victoria Park A (Parks League) Thursday evening

What a fantastic season the team has had.  We are promoted to the Premier division finishing 1 point behind Formby Our Lady’s.  It has been tight at the top of the league all season and after a gallant effort we had to settle as runners up.

The whole team has contributed to our success and the team atmosphere has been great.  Congratulations to Gary Burgess for winning the team averages but there are many players who have consistently won during the long season.

I would like to thank all the players for their efforts this season and an added thank you to Ian Goulding for being my very good vice-captain.

Here’s to the premiership next season and if it’s anything like this season we will do well.
