Victoria Park v Crossens Annual Competition Report

Hi everybody,

Many thanks to all our members who came to Victoria Park for our annual competition. The weather was kind, not too hot and the rain kept off.

There was a total of 38 players – 20 of which were from Crossens, although some of the Victoria Park members were also Crossens members.!!

It was a close competition, with a good atmosphere although it was competitive. The ladies put on a buffet which was well received, which made a small profit.

There were single games; mixed pairs and ladies and gents pairs.

The final result could not have been any closer – Victoria Park won 15 games with 346 chalks, Crossens won 15 games with 347 chalks – although Victoria Park wanted a re-count!!

Overall a very enjoyable day.
