End of season report – Parks ‘A’ Team (Thursday evening)

I am so proud of my team’s performances in our first season in the Parks Premier league.  We set off like a train and managed to stay in the top 4 for quite a while.  As the season progressed we ran out of steam and finished middle of the table in 7^th place.  We have opened a lot of peoples eyes to the ability and potential of this team and we will strive to improve again next year.

All the players have contributed to our good season this year and in particular Ian Goulding who finished top of the team’s merits and 6^th in the league merits.  

I would like to thank all the players and particularly my Vice captain Ian Goulding for their continued support.

We are heading in the right direction and I am looking for us to compete for success next year.
